An excessive amount of GRACE?

In my last post, I took a little bit of time defining grace. So, That's not me about to spend more time doing that. But, if you want a reminder, just think about the last post, "Free eventually: My Journey Into Grace." But, I want talk in this post about the "abundance of grace." The truth is, Romans 5:17 says, "...... much more they which receive abundance of grace and also the gift of righteousness shall reign in daily life by one, Jesus Christ. The word "reign" on this verse, inside original greek by which rrt had been written, is the word "basileuo," and yes it means, "to get king, to exercise kingly power, to reign." Which means we as Believers, those with received the abundance of grace as well as the gift of righteousness, work to reign as kings! Notice, these two gifts are RECEIVED. In order for a gift to in fact certainly be a gift, it may only get and received. When one receives a gift, they won't pip out, or help it, or earn it by any merit. Again, (on the risk of being over repetitive) a gift is only a gift if it's ONLY freely given, and freely received.

Now, in line with the Bible, whoever has ever received anything from God, managed it by grace. So, they are available in great confusion and shock to see someone way, "Well, you simply can't preach to much about grace." I mean, you would have to be really ignorant or misinformed to generate such a statement. People only say that you could preach to much grace, if they are not aware of what grace is. They simply say any time they still only associate grace with forgiveness, as opposed to knowning that grace will be the only adequate, qualified sin remedy. Grace would be the only thing that could bring freedom from sin, bondage, and destructive habits. If there is one thing in all of existence that humanity could never get enough in order to much of, it truly is grace.

The Bible says in John 1:16-17, "And also His fulness have we received, and grace for grace. For that law was presented with by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." Again, the Word declares that the exact thing that any of us have received from Jesus Himself, is grace! It does not say that we've received healing, prosperity, miracles, or forgiveness, but it really says that we've received grace. And all of alternative blessings, are byproducts of grace. Also, realize that grace is on the side of truth. In reality, the Gospel may be the Good News, and Paul called this Very good news the Gospel of Grace. So settle it of your heart now, there isn't any such thing concerning much grace. But rather, the more that you feed upon the revelation of God's grace, the greater you will receive all God's other blood-bought, free blessings. Our bodies of Christ, and the world, doesn't have to reduce the message of grace, but alternatively we need an enormous, overwhelming, super-abundance of grace!

PERFORMANCE DRIVEN RELIGION

Inside Body of Christ, there is a lot of "performance driven religion." In the New Covenant, which we're under, God has never called us to please Him through our works. God is pleased with us dependant on our faith in Jesus. God desires for His children to work for Him away from there fascination with Him. We benefit God because He loves us and since He's got already made us righteous. Do not work for Him to help relieve our conscience or to seek to become righteous and accepted by Him. Paul handled this challenge with the book of Galatians. The Galatian church began established in grace. They we're established them to we're saved and "perfected" by God's grace, rather than by there works and performance. In Galatians 3:2-3, Paul said, "This only would I find out about you, did you will get the modern birth through the WORKS on the law, or with the hearing of faith? Do you think you're so foolish? Ya think that even though you began inside spirit, it's simple to be produced perfect by your works from the flesh?" Pretty clear huh? Paul calls these Galatians foolish, or stupid!

That's a strong rebuke. But it's true. So many times we try and try and please God by our works, and we make an effort to produce spiritual ends in our everyday life by our works, when scripture is sooo clear that any of us are born-again, and matured in this Christian walk by God's grace. So, don't allow Satan provoke you into performance driven religion. We have been called unto grace, rest, and freedom from attempting to please God with works, so fight with everything in you to relax in God's grace, and to avoid performance driven religion. Galatians 5:1 - Hold firm therefor within the liberty wherewith Christ hast made us free, and be not entangled again using the yoke of bondage." The yoke of bondage that Paul is referring to may be the bondage when you attempt to serve and please God from the works in the law.

SUPER ABUNDANCE OF GRACE

So, in conclusion, Romans 5:20 says, "...... But where sin abounded, grace did considerably more abound." The term "abounded", discussing sin, means "increased." Even so the term, "did far more abound," talking about grace, literally means "hyper, super abounded." Praise God to the! When sin is full of a region of our life, that doesn't mean that individuals fall from grace, but rather that is the very area where we start to use God's grace to super-abound over that sin! Sin doesn't daunt God's grace, and yes it can't overpower God's grace, but instead grace trumps sin! Grace overpowers and swallows in the aspects of sin and bondage in this lives!

Also, Romans 6:14 says, "For sin shall not need dominion over you: in your case usually are not underneath the law, but under grace." So, remember, sin does not have authority over you if you're under grace. To return beneath bondage from the works on the law, should be to give sin handle of you. But, will not seek to please God with works, and will not try change yourself, your problems, along with your sins because of your works, but rest in freedom and rest inside finished work of Jesus, and allow God's super-abounding grace to reign in your soul and also to mean you can reign that you saw.
