Social Bookmark - Adding social bookmark links to your blog or web site makes it easy for readers to save and share your posts. But once you have decided to add social bookmarking buttons, you have to select how to include social bookmark submitting in your site.

Start with wondering what your display choices are. You can have a share button having a drop down menu listing bookmarking sites, or you can list them visibly, with checkboxes. Finally, you can send your user to a page which lists all the sharing options. Let's examine these options in detail to finish our how you can of social bookmarking.

If you have a control button having a drop down menu, you'll be trying out less space in your page layout, that is a positive, but it will be less visible, so you could lose some potential links on bookmarking sites. I would say that if you choose to list them all visibly, with checkboxes, you will need to choose fewer sites. I'll discuss this farther on within the post, but first I want to examine the next option, having all the sharing choices on a separate page. This option lets you supply your options possible. That literally brings me to my next point.

Social Bookmark - Then you have to inquire about yourself which internet sites chatting first, and which to list at all. There are hundreds of social bookmarking sites on the net, so you've to select the best ones for your niche. Remember that people like choosing the site of these choice first, so a particular placement reveals your adherence to one site or the other. Small decisions, or decisions that are apparently small, can give you or remove links.

Sometimes, choosing a smaller site on the larger the first is better, considering that the community of smaller sites is usually more loyal (and pickier), and will see your choice being a positive, causing them to be more likely to link posts appearing on your own site.

Social Bookmark - So what about that third option? Is it good?

Well, it's not great in my experience. Only very, very technologically minded people want that lots of options. Most visitors in your website will be happier if it's user friendly rather than too complete. There is this as over-optimizing. Another thing to consider is that more pages means an increased ctr and for that reason more people remaining the method. And when they've shared this post, they might believe it is uncomfortable revisit your site and you may be losing visitors who may have otherwise continued browsing and ultimately, purchasing.
